Week Woman

A Pox on the Patriarchy

Femme Poème

Mary

A nice little girl,

As neat as a pearl

She polished her shoes,

Held conservative views.

Helped Ma round the house,

Was as quiet as a mouse.

She smiled with her eyes

And baked apple pies.

But watch while she cries.

Such a powerful thought rendered through seemingly calm lines. Well done!
